If Ukraine Loses, It’s Not Because Russia is Strong, It’s Because the West is Weak.

Ukraine is losing. For months it has been showing its ability to fight and asking the supplies needed to fight and the west has chosen not to give what is needed. At the same time, Russia has shown that it is not the war power we thought it was. It has been able to regroup and fight thanks to its allies in China, North Korea, Syria and Iran. Russia has been able to rebuild its military by going around sanctions on its oil and imports. Meanwhile, the West big on words, has once again abandoned its ally.

The West has shown to the world that if you are a liberal democracy, other democracies will abandon you while dictatorships will support you. The West demonstrated that democracies have no will to fight or sacrifice money let alone weapons or soldiers. After America abandoned Kurds, Iraqis and Afghans, it now abandoned Ukraine.

America is larger than one speaker of the House. If America cared it would have showed to Speaker Johnson that supporting Putin and abandoning Ukraine is politically costly. However, we have seen the opposite. A complete show of apathy from everyone in Republican and Democratic circles.

As Ukraine loses allies, land, people and freedom, Russia gains more land and more allies. As Ukraine loses, Taiwan looks on knowing what is next. Armenia looks on knowing what is next.

The next month will be critical for our future. If the West does nothing and allows Russia to win, we will see a winter of Tyranny take over the world. The tyrants of this world will know that democracies have no interest in fighting and democracies will collapse one after another as they did in the 1920ies and 1930ies. The cowardliness of our leaders and stinginess of our people will prove to be the opening to hell that began in Ukraine, but will not end with Ukraine. Every day that America chooses not to help Ukraine, brings us to the emboldened and stronger Russia and a certain world war.

Those who choose peace over dignity, lose both. We are losing both. Dignity now, peace in a very short future.

If you are against dictatorships using force to end nations and freedom of people, please contact your representative and tell them one short sentence:

“I live in your district and I demand that we follow through on our promise and vote to send aid to Ukraine. “
