Democrats Lost Their Values Before They Lost The Election.

The Democrats were the party of helping Americans and combating hate, then October 7th happened. Progressives around the country began to demand and celebrate the murder of Jews. Democrats were caught flat-footed. They had a choice: call for a war that would end an Islamist terrorist organization and help Ukraine end the war with Russia, or acquiesce to pro-Russia Islamists who infiltrated the party and drag out a war for three years that would cost billions of dollars and hundreds of thousands of lives. They chose demagoguery ignoring their core values, and with that, they lost who they are.

Millions of Americans have seen the hypocrisy of the left and as a result, it became easy for Republicans to make other accusations and have them stick, even if they were not true. It became clear that while pretending to be honest, Democrats lied. They lied about truly helping Ukraine, about helping Afghans, about stopping wars in Sudan about being honest about the true reality of Biden’s mental state.

American people are not stupid. When they see lies from a liar, they know what to expect. But when someone pretends to be honest and lies, they spot hypocrisy and run away.

It didn’t help that Harris campaign lacked legitimacy as she was thrust into the spotlight through a lack of a nomination process. It didn’t help that she hid from public view which showed that she is either afraid of the limelight or trying to hide something, both are equally unattractive in someone vying for the top job in the world.

When one takes on hate and tyrants and claims to fight the wealthy to create a better country for all, one has to mean it and make tough choices. Democrats threw insults at Republicans, they saw Project 25, they saw the campaign and instead of turning up courage, they turned up fear, because the people in the Democratic party are small, fearful people who ride a wave of virtue-signaling ignoring true values.

The Democrats lost this election a long time ago, they lost it when they became what they accused the Trump campaign of: lying, pandering, demagogues who would pretend to be allies only to undermine the allies when it mattered. They faced inflation and instead of acknowledging it and its effects on America, they pretended it wasn’t a problem. They lost fight after fight and blamed it on Mancheim or Republicans instead of their own weakness in getting things done. This was not something new. It was there in the Obama White House as well, blaming Republicans for not getting their way in the legislature, Israel when not getting a peace deal, and Russia when not winning the election.

A strong person recognizes their enemy and understands that they have to be strong and they have to win and they have to be a good friend and ally. The weak will find excuses. If Democrats want to start winning again, they will have to start offering a vision, and then having the strength to follow through without blame against anyone other than themselves when they fail to deliver it.
